About these snapshots
- SQL backups: Allowlisted public reference tables — utilities, territories, programs, power plants, substations, transmission lines, pricing nodes, ISOs/RTOs, balancing authorities, and more (.sql.gz). Rates are supplied separately as JSON.
- Relational JSON: Programs and rates retain their organization, utility, and region links. They do not have intrinsic geometry; a utility boundary does not imply program or tariff eligibility.
- GeoJSON layers: Available spatial exports appear above for each release. New snapshots include utilities, territories, charging stations, power plants, pricing nodes, transmission lines, substations, and ISO/RTO/balancing-authority boundaries where stored geometry exists. Older releases may have fewer layers.
- Frequency: Scheduled every Sunday at 4:00 AM UTC; the date above reflects the last published snapshot
- Retention: All snapshots are permanent; none are deleted
